How PlayScore works
Every product is broken down spec by spec. We normalise each measurement onto a 0–100 quality scale, weight it by how much it actually matters for real-world performance, and combine them into one transparent score out of 100. Read the full published methodology.
1. Spec-driven
Battery voltage, motor wattage, top speed, weight limits and run time for ride-ons; scale, casting and wheel type for diecast — pulled from maker data and normalised so every spec is comparable.
2. Quantitative & weighted
Each spec carries a weight based on how much it actually matters in the driveway or on the shelf. No vibes, no sponsorships — the math decides the ranking.
3. Buyer-aware
We re-weight the same data for each kind of buyer — toddlers, big-yard speed seekers, budget-minded parents, serious collectors — to build genuinely useful best-of lists.
